Re: Liquid Gold II
Super image Fernando.
May I just point out a couple of small points?
1) I find my eye getting dragged to the bright reflections in the water when they should be focused on the boat. Can you either 'dull them down' or clone them out so as they are less distracting? Maybe even cropping the frame a little higher up to remove them might work?
2) How much space have you cropped off the right side of the image?
It would be nice to have a bit more space for the boat to sail into. If you have a fair bit of room left on the right side then a crop up from the bottom and the extra space on the right will turn it into a landscape format which might work well.
These two points are only minor and in no way distract from a wonderful image, one that I would be proud to have in my portfolio. If you could make the corrections i suggest I think you would have an image that would do well not just in CiC Mini Competitions but also in Salon or Exhibition, yes I think it is that good.
Regards
Chris

Re: Liquid Gold II
Mmmm, like it very much indeed. So many shades of gold, a beautifully simple composition, and that perfect wave-maker of a boat with the sun highlighting its wake.
Much prefer your lovely image to real gold. Never liked the metal one bit
