I was out shooting some early morning landscapes when I came across this hardy soul out fishing on a very cold morning (5 degrees in Brisbane is quite cold!)

Excellent Ian. That little line of sunlight hitting the side of his body just gives it that added lift.
The leaves right at the top left? Are the needed? Clone them out?

I would disagree with Paul's suggested solution. I think the clone is much better. The crop moves the little fold-up seat to close to the edge the frame.

I'm not sure about the crop either Donald, I think it chokes the image too much and you lose the vignetting around the edge of frame which was there to draw you in.

I agree too, the fence post in the original crop stops the eye from wandering out of the image - its not usually a good idea to have the brightest shades in an image close to the edge. With the Paul's crop - I can see where he is coming from - but don't think it works that well because now you have a bright area close to the edge and it becomes slightly unbalanced.
