Putting Borders and signature using Aperture
I have seen some lovely borders and signatures on the photos out here.
I am new with post processing. I use Aperture on my mac book prow to do post processing.
I would like to learn how to put borders around my pictures and how I can add my signature on the photo/border.

Re: Putting Borders and signature using Aperture
amolsan,
In Aperture 3 borders are added in the Print dialog boxes as is a water mark. I created my watermark in CS5 and saved it as a png file which I add at the print stage as well if I use aperture to print from. Note the water mark will not be on the border its in the image. See attached Screen Print. Image Options Section.
To print photos from Aperture press cmd+P
Hope this helps.
Regards
David

Re: Putting Borders and signature using Aperture
To add a signature in Aperture, you also first have to create the graphic in another program. Then you have to add the graphic as a preset.
From the Aperture menu, select Presets and then either Image Export or Web Export
Then, for each type of export file, you have to select Watermark and upload the graphic file and tell the app where on the photo to place it. It can be rather tedious. And I'm still playing around with mine.
I hope this helps...

You should take a look at the borderfx plugin.
