Hi from Canada's North
Hello, learned a lot of photography basics on CIC when I started photography 4 or so yrs ago. Was referring it to a new friend who had just started and realized there was a forum. Lots of info I hope to read into here.

Karl - And hello from Scotland.
Glad you've decided to come back into the bosom of CiC. I hope you find that the forum is the perfect complement to the tutorials and is very much oriented towards helping people develop knowldge and skills.
Please do join in the discussions and, of course, post up some of your images.

Hi Karl! NWT, eh? I can't wait to see your shots of the Aurora Borealis. I lived in Canada for 12 years and wasn't able to catch them even once! Welcome to CiC!

Welcome Karl, Even for a lurker like me this is a great site. The regulars are a font of information and good advice and the interactions are fun even if you don't post frequently. Enjoy
