One of my favourites is brand new (it's still warm :p). It was taken in a conservancy area (not a very large one, trains where about 100 meter behind me!!! Overcrowded Holland....) and I walked to a place to take a picture and then I saw this...
I love the composition, the sharpness and the beautiful sky (in the water). I really wonder why a picture as this one hardly gets any attention on Flickr...

I took this one a month or two ago. My favorite part about it as what others may see as a flaw. I like how the hood gets blown out by the sun yet, your mind fills in the shape of the hood for you.

This has to be a favorite of mine, likely due to what I went through to get it. :D

Re: Post Your Favorite Photographs
Thank you Pierre and Samantha. It was hands and knees for 20 minutes under and threw blackberries and mud, but worth it. :D
Samantha, your pups look quite peaceful. :)

Paul, that is an awesome pic! I understand blackberries and mud, and honestly not sure I would
have made that same sacrifice of body and blood...but can definitely appreciate the effort you went
through in that capture...
Re: Post Your Favorite Photographs
Thanks Mike, yeah my arms and bald head looked like I got attacked by a heard of cats. :D

I wish all of you could see this at its print size of 8" x 24" Japanese style matting in a simple black frame. I've had several people comment that it looks more like a watercolor painting than a photograph.

Pity that you can only have one favourite, because I've had a lot of goes at photographing high buildings and not many look right after perspective changes, they look stumped or worse, so when I find one that doesn't it becomes a favourite.:)
8' long is a bit difficult for me, but the most interesting thing is that it looks like a canvas painting, I've tried similar but without success; well I'm the only one who likes them.:)

203mm x 609mm not 8 feet...and thanks for the appreciation of the style.

These are 2 of my favourites. Entirely different subjects but both taken on a foggy morning last fall
Canada Geese taking off in thick fog

Draft horses finishing breakfast taken a few hours after the geese when the fog had started to lift.
