I'd have prefered a bit more bokeh on this one to blur the background. However I am quite pleased with the results.

Hi Damien,
Looking at the EXIF; f/5.6 at 55mm, if a kit lens, you are possibly as wide as you could be.
Perhaps a "nifty fifty" that goes to f/1.8 should be on your christmas or birthday pressie list
If I am honest, it looks a bit over exposed to me, but I like the composition and where you focused.
