    I know they are birds, but a bit larger than we deliberately feed unless you count trying to grow a few veg

    Thank you Dave & Nigel - a show off like this male is a give-away subject, only problem with him & his brothers is you have to underexpose so as not to blow the white collar.

    Nikkor 80-400VR. The full exif is there; easiest way to retrieve full info which includes lens is to drag into software that incorporates 'Exif tool' (v 7.6. in GraphicConverter on mac), maybe Firefox Exif Viewer extension, but can never fathom out what URL to put in so it can't cheat and get it off image on one's own computer.
