Re: Thinking about getting 7D
The 7D is nice camera i just cant see paying 100 dollars more for a camera that dosent have that much more than the 60D as for using the dummy settings i dont use them myself that dosent make any less of a camera. One of the reasons i got the 60D its lighter to carry around i do alot of concert photography being lighter is a good thing and the flipout screen where theres alot of people is a big help.Like i said the 7D is a nice camera i have used one and i liked it.Also the photos are just as clear and sharp as the 7Ds i would rather put the extra money to buying Lens.I am a freelance photographer and have been for over 20 years i have used alot cameras in my time the 60D is a nice camera and theres NOTHING wrong with someone using the DUMMY settings if thats what they want to do thats up to them not only that WE all stsrted out knowing little or nothing how we forget that .I do agree if someone wants to realy learn all they can about photography they should learn to use the camera manualy.I put the photos of the 7D&60D side by side and showed some of my clints they could not tell one was better than the other in the end photos tell the whats good or not i can do just as much with the 60D as the 7D having said that put the extra money to buying lens. You have good points just for me not enough to spend 100 dollars more.
Peace Don out.
