This is a monochrome-themed competition that is open to all CiC members.
ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). We request that there be just one entry per person, and that any tinted images utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.
VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 2 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.
Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Congratulations Joe! What an excellent way to honor the memory of your dad, and IMHO it was also a powerful image in it's own right.
Had to LOL a bit at myself, as my meager attempt to draw out the [mostly] gray haired Jethro Tull fans failed miserably, right along with the image. I doubt that very many understood the "Old Charlie stole the handle..." connection, as it was a line from a vintage Tull tune aptly titled "Locomotive Breath".

Joe, this one shot is near to my heart because both my dad and mom are there at Ft. Sam. I often thinking of them golfing next door when the moon is out and there is quiet. Congratulations on this win.

Wow! I won! Didnt expect that, but I am happy about it. Thanks to all that voted for my entry. I really didnt expect it. The other entries are so good. I have learned alot from this forum and have a very long way to go. I love coming here.
Mike,this" kinda mostly" gray haired rocker certainly did catch the Jethro Tull connection. Brought back some really cool memories.
