Playing with shoot through umbrella and 580EXII

I finally bought a shoot through umbrella to go with my 580EXII. These were taken with one light source. C&C is welcome

A really nice set Sam. The light looks a little strong in the forst one but I like the composition.

Shots two and 3 have nicer saturation in the colours.

Number 2 is my favourite, it seems to "speak" more and convey a message of being past it's best but still immensely beautiful. One thing I would be inclined to do is clone or heal sopme of the blemishes and pollen spots from the petals.

The colors are brilliant yet the focus seems a bit soft. Best viewed from a distance.

Thanks Steve. The flower were free at the supermarket as they were past their prime. I will clone out some of the imperfections.

Oddly I was thinking the light in the second one appears a little dim to me
I agree that the second looks the most interesting. Personally I wouldn't do much cloaning/healing if any, maybe just a little brighter.
