Stop it at once you are making my ears go red. These have gone outside of 'photography' to a certain extent but I thought they were quite good examples of seeing beyond the immediate visual imprint. Looking at these 2 together it also illustrates the impact of simplicity in an image. The second one draws me far more than the first.

Hi Steve, while I think these are attractive pieces of digital art, I am struggling somewhat with how loosely connected they seem to be with the discipline of photography. Could you post the original image of the beach bag for me to see how you have manipulated it into this image? Originally Posted by Wirefox

No problem Tommy, I use photography as a means to an end quite often. These examples use photography rather than purport to be photography as an end product. I have never had any qualms about that at all.
The image above was already half manipulated and I will have to dig out the original from my external drive but you can see the bag in the image below
