I took a few photos of this pier one night on vacation. The photos didn't turn out quite as 'neat' looking when as I recall, so I messed with some contrast and color a bit on this one until it looked interesting. The result is a bit redder than I recall...

Now, that makes a statement.
It's as if the legs of the pier are sitting on land, with the water being in front of it; i.e. only starting nearer to us. It's almost like a model. A weird but captivating effect.
