    Full Moon

I can't think why I get the urge to go out when there's a full moon, perhaps its a distraction from the hair growing on the palms of my hands

You must look quite the fright when you grin after taking a great shot.

Beautiful Moon shot with a nice view of Tycho. Grimaldi (the crater on the left at about the 8:30 position) is also prominent. Nice one Keith..

Keith, I understand the fascination, but it doesn't have to be just the full moon.

That is totally awesome! How do you take it without the glow taking over?

    Re: Full Moon

    Thanks for looking guys.

Janice: I used spot-metering on the moon, bracketed the exposure and picked out the best one. I then converted it to mono and tweaked it in PS. This is an unedited jpeg from the original RAW file, as you can see, there is no glow.

Damn fine moon shot Keith, one of the best I've seen recently. That 100-400 L is a cracking lens.
By the way what was your ISO on this one ?
