The Pocklington Canal - SEP2 allows another one to be revealed

Carrying on my journey of discovery with Silver Efex Pro 2 (SEP2) (read all about it here), I resurrected this one from a series I took earlier this year from a day spent floating down the Pocklington Canal in Yorkshire, England (some images were posted up earlier this year).

At the time I didn't do anything with this one because it didn't work the way I wanted. But in playing with SEP2 in order to try and learn it, I ended up with this.


40D, 70-200mm f/4L IS @ 200mm. ISO100. 1/180@f11.

That's excellent- Looks like a 1920's shot but for the clothing.Is it meant to be a wee bit overexposed around the edges then ?
It's just reminded me that I meant to try my Tall ship in B&W or even the Antique gold or Sepia of LR.

Yep, as with the other image (in the link supplied) I've gone overboard with the vignette. We can put that down to my excitement at getting SEP2 to work. I'll get over it.

yes, but the vignette does add to that hazy memory of a 'hazy', lazy summer's day. Oh, I've got Mr. Toad and Percy Granger all floating through brain again!
