Scott Kelby-ish White Gallery Border

I have searched and have not had any luck looking for instructions on how to put a white border/matte around an image... I like the way Scott Kelby's images are matted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Maja,

It's pretty easy when you get the hand of it.

Step one is to increase the size of the canvas using the Image -> Canvas command (in Photoshop)

Step two is to make a selection (Ctrl + A to select all), and then use the Edit -> Stroke command.

There are a zillion variations, but that's basically how it's done.
