    Water Mark

    Can someone please tell me a step by step process for adding watermarks to my pictures? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Kris,

    What software are you using? Photoshop?

    Type 'Add watermark in Photoshop' into YouTube and there are loads of tutorials showing you how to do it.

    I'm actually using Corel, but I will check YouTube for that information on Corel.

    Hi Kris,

    Could I ask why you want to do this?

    - where I am going is that it is sooo easily removed as to be pointless for copyright/security purposes

    if as advertising/contact info, that is slightly more valid (so make it an e-mail address)

    but do be aware that it can spoil the image for 100% viewers
    and as said above, is little or no deterent for the 0.000001% of people (read "thieves") that might rip it off

    Personally I usually choose to not even evaluate images with watermarks -- usually they just YANK ones eye out of the normal flow through an image. Bugs the heck out of me.
