First off, I want to thank you for the advice given prior to this airshow. Tried the advice given with interesting results. One thing for sure, its definitely tougher to get the prop planes looking as sharp as I want while also getting the propellers just blurred enough to be realistic. Did some PP on iPhoto, some cropping. Let me know how you think these turned out. Thank you in advance!
This one, I wanted to see if I could get as sharp and clear as Lennart did in his recent post of a similar plane. Unfortunately, the words under the gun is smudged on flickr, but crisp and clear on my computer...

Nice work Mike! Did you catch the bug yet? Once you get into it – it's kind of addictive! The prop blur / slow shutter speed thing is all about practice and taking loads of frames. Typically your in the zone where sharpness is a random event – so the proportion of sharp images is very low. On the up side, all the panning practice and squeezing off shots at silly speeds does improve one's normal photography.
