Lovely, Joanne! I'm finding that I want to take photos of ferns but, when I get there, I'm not sure how to NOT do the typical and, this is a fresh take on it all. I like #1 and how simple and glowing verdant it is.... although, maybe, cropping off the messy bits on the right might help a little?
I'd like to ask you, in #2, what is it that you're trying to draw our attention to?
They're both in a wonderful light, it seems.

Very nice Joanne. I tried them as well a little while ago and didn't know where to put them (so they ended up in the macro flower photography thread (post #423)). They look good with some bokeh behind them.
