    Re: Fishermen's houses

Thanks to all the voters of my picture.
I'm a bit surprised, the capture isn't one of my favorites.
I like the reflection very much and it was hard to get it sharp (it still isn't crispy, but is that possible under these very low light conditions...).
The rest is a bit boring, to my opinion (we got a lot of light pollution in Houten).

    Nevertheless, many thanks.

    Well done Pierre
It was the warmth of the image that I liked, the houses look so inviting to go in and just sit by the fire.
    Congratulations on the win!

    Congratulations on the Win, Pierre!

I understand how you feel. I often find myself liking images that don't get many votes and not understanding some of those that do! The more you are able to determine the difference, the better you are able to 'see' what makes a great image and that vision improves your own photographic skills.

    Thanks Frank,

It's exactly what I feel. Some pictures I really love, get hardly any vote and v.v.
Thank you for your encouraging words. I feel and think that I'm making progress... CiC helps a lot.

    Re: Fishermen's houses

Thank you Anne and Bobo, I really enjoy your comment.

I will post other pictures of these very beautiful houses. The rather boring Houten, has done a great job here.
