Nice tip, John. I really gotta see how candlelight behaves whilst taking a long exposure. (Say around 1/3")

I went to the lounge. Spent some good time there. The client wanted me to take a shot of Budha Statue they have in Lounge. There were a few people sitting there so I took it from far, with my nifty fifty.
My friend told me that client got very excited to see the shot (thanks to star bursts )

Good stuff, young man. Good stuff. Well done. Need to get rid of that thing (is it a light?) coming in at the top right. A crop?

    Sahil,

I agree with Donald on the crop mate. Just slightly tighter.

Also, you should share a few shots you have of children here. Just had a quick look on your flickr page mate. Stunning stuff, most of all this little gem,

    Thanks a lot, Donald.
Yes, that is a light. I let it be there 'coz this was just a test shot & had to be sent to my friend, the website designer. I left it for him to decide, what to crop, from where to crop.
Also, the following shot has taught me a LOT. I bring as much area in the frame as I can. Tight cropping can be left for later stage. Too bad that I missed the birdie's toe in this one

    Thanks for the appreciation, Mark.
Well there isn't a single shot that is not posted here on CiC. In fact many images on my flickr stream are not visible to 'everyone' but are uploaded just to be shared with friends here.
Here are the links to my previous posts of Kids' shots.

I look at your friends website. He might be a designer and knows a lot of CCS and html, but I am not impressed of that site.
I think you should have a marketing and architectural feel to show pictures on a website. Look at the pictures as you being a client who wants to look at a certain restaurant.
My home town Glendora in the LA area has a small village shopping center and I took some pictures of locals for a small news paper. I used a Canon 40D, the canon 10-22mm lens, the Canon 430exII flash and a monopod.

    Hi Ronny,

My friend's website? I don't think I have posted a link to it as yet.
    Its www.miraclestudios.in
The Tao's present website has been designed by someone else. My friend is working on it.
Share your pictures with us, maybe?

I tried to add pictures by using: "Click here to upload photos from the computer" and loaded 4 pictures in jpeg format, but I do not see them either. Then I clicked "post quick reply" I am fairly new to this forum and wonder what I did wrong?

    Hi Ronny,

When you click "Click here to upload photos from your computer" a little panel should appear. You then need to do a few steps ...

    1. Click "browse" and navigate to the file on your PC

    2. Click "Upload now" to upload the file to TinyPic

    3. Click on the URL that TinyPic returns (to select it) and then press Ctrl+C to copy it to your clipboard

    4. Click in your post where you'd like the image to appear, and then press Ctrl+V to past the URL and umage marker tabs into your post.

At this point your done (you won't see the image until you save the post).

    Hope this helps.

I was gone for a week, but back again. I was wrong about the website because of the Tao website.
Your friend does have a great site. He must be good in CSS and html.
What is your opinion about the pictures at the bottom of this list? I submitted pictures for the first time to this forum and they turned out to big. I just used the standard procedure and next time I will use a lot smaller size. I wonder if I can still edit them.

    Hi Ronny,
Well, my friend just does the designing, coding is done by his team.
    Nice pictures they are.
And you don't need to worry about the size because they are resized automatically here.
And yes, you can edit them, if needed.
