Well ................. You've got to say - it's different
Hands up! And step away from the photoshop software! Very, very slowly or I'll shoot!
Very imaginitive. Great shadow work also...
This is really weird, Rob. But isn't it just a photographical representation of a small part of the fractal Handelbrot Set?
Philip
Well I've got to hand it to you, Rob. You really have your finger on a different approach!
What in God's name do you do with 7 opposable thumbs?
You're right. I totally missed the four on the hands of the fingers of the hand on the pinkie... finger... I think maybe.
LOL Scott.
I agree with Richard. The shadows are very convincing. Howdyoudothat?
Thanks for the interest in this image.
The shadow effect is surprisingly simple to do.
Select the hand and remove the background to transparent
Copy to a new layer
Goto new layer
Select the hand and feather the edge to suit
Make silhouette of the selection Black on transparent
The trick is to rotate the shadow (anti-clockwise in this case) - this makes it appear 3D.
Stick the layer behind the hand
Make a final background colour layer - any colour you like.
Reduce the opacity of the "shadow" layer until it looks real
Hope that all makes sense!
You lost me on the 'remove to transparent' part lol
Thanks for sharing though.
With 11 opposable thumbs , you do what ever you want to. Uh, neat image Rob
