Hi, Brian.
I don't think I am good enough to comment on this, but just out of curiosity, is there really a halo (due to over sharpening, may be) around the black areas or is it just an illusion?
Hey again,
Brian I scrolled down a bit & that chopped of the upper part of the image. So I suggest a crop from top till the point from where the flap of the cap starts.
Hi Brian,
For me, the crop is too tight, I can't see the top of the hat or the edge of the gun on right.
Hi Sahil,
I don't see any halo beyond some jpg artefacts right at the bottom on his chest where the background gradient shade ramps down.
Both,
Given the image here, then I agree with Sahil's second suggestion, cropping off from just above the hat brim upwards, gives much better composition.
Good effort though,
Silly point, but Dick tracy's features are hard, chisled, and pointed rather than soft and rounded, more like a kid than an adult. All the cropping in the world won't do justice to Dick Tracy, but it is a good start to a sillouette.
Cool concept Brian! I agree about the chiseled features, but as you said you've got to
go with the models that are available. My first thought though was how out of
proportion the handgun is to the size of the holder.
Not sure he could reach the trigger..still, I like the series just because they are so creative,
and leave much to the imagination
LOL Mike. I was thinking the same thing about the size of the gun.
I do not apologize for not having a smaller one though
FYI, my son can reach the trigger - he has shot his mom's Beretta before
