Hi Dusty/Dave, so as not to confuse the two Dave's. Welcome to CiC! I also shoot Nikon but there are a large number of Canon and other users here as well. Looking forward to seeing some of your photography and having the opportunuity to learn from one another!

As I said I shoot with a Canon 7D with a Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-200mm 1 : 2.8 L, and I have also a Canon Lens EF 50 mm 1 : 1.8 11 (for me the best pound for pound Canon lens out). I love taking images of anything. Like my image of a apple with a tape round it which I took to show people it easy to start a diet.

Just checking - Do you prefer to be addressed as Dusty or Dave? If the latter, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Like the mini comp, you have to think about which images to enter and I love to look at all the other images, it is how you learn.
