I vote for #1 and #2. The dusky light in 1 is great.
I've wanted to visit your country ever since I read Bill Bryson's "In a Sunburned Country". Not likely to ever happen given my station in life. Ah well.
Thanks George, I am sure there are plenty of places you would enjoy down here. You might be interested to note that 3 & 4 were taken about 9.30am. We don't have much time before the light gets harsh but it also reflects the nature of the landscape as you see it. We just have to deal with it.
Hi Peter, I remember looking down from the cockpit of a Qantas 747 over central Australia and seeing nothing but red tortured rock for as far as you see from 40,000 feet up. I often wondered what it would like on the ground. Nice detail.
Wow Peter, that is some scenery you have there to work with. Great shots and keep 'em coming.
Thanks Frank and Bobo. This was mmy first visit to this area but certainly will be going back to spend a bit more time. The only thing being it is a 4 day drive from my home just to get there.
Thanks Donald. I had fun out in the desert.
