Wow Rob! These are awesome action shots! I love the composition of the first and second ones. You seriously nailed them! I like the third, but I was a swimmer, so I guess I'm just partial to the swimming ones. But I do love the kid's face looking at the diver...
Great shots Rob!

Thanks Frankie,
I was a swimmer also, now just a dad , my son is in that group watching the diver. I also thought it was interesting how they were watching the diver and the looks on the faces
Rob
The 1st one would be a hard to get spot on, the water splash is the focal point and not the swimmer if it was the other way round it would have been very very good.
The 2nd one is much better good timing, nice and sharp, so this goes the next level of nit picking the person in the background is a distraction, I know you cant ask them to move, but as the pictures get better it is these things that get spotted and if removed take the picture up to new much higher level.
3rd great timing again good shutter on these two, include the people at the bottom show height and wonder meant, just a little to orange for me in the skin tones but they may be how people are in Clearwater.
On the first one ---- I thought that too, but after looking at it more I thought the sharpness in the water was an interesting look to the picture.
On the second one ---- I couldn’t agree more! This event was a relay so there was more people behind the block than in a non-relay event. I thought about cloning it out, but with all the water splash I didn’t even try. I may just to see if I can and will repost if it comes out.
On the third---- The picture was taken as the sun was setting and the kids are looking right into the sun. The kids are very tan because the swim every day, but they may be a little on the orange side because of my settings at that time. Again, I try to tweak it a little and re-post if it’s any good.
