Goldendoodle

Holly is my year-old Goldendoodle. A Goldendoodle is the intentional cross between a Standard Poodle and a Golden Retriever. She has all of the great qualities of both breeds. She is amazingly smart, gentle and loving, sheds minimally and is a great watch dog. She is full-grown now and weighs about 60 pounds (about 27 kilos).

Holly lives with four Maltese friends and a cat. She loves all our other pets and gets along great with them.

Actually, Holly is pretty well trained and knows the "stay" command. We decided that we should start training Holly early because an unruly 60 pound (27 kilo) dog would be a big pest. She learned to sit for treats on the first day we got her when she was a cuddly seven ans a half pound (3.5) kilo puppy.

We do limit treats because we don't want her overweight. She is trained using praise and loves to please us.
