hi my name is Cakey and I live in Cheshunt in Herts which is rapidly being swallowed by North London,Im 61 and in my prime .
I retired from my hobby of drag racing when I was 50 and brought a camera and Im still useless but willing to learn .

What kind of camera do you currently have? Read any of the tutorials yet? (they are a

I had an slr for taking pictures of cars for years and soon realised the better the camera the better pictures I took

Ah - CB Radio ... brings back many memories! (Like the time the transmit button on the mike jammed in whilst I was talking about my girlfriends ex )

I can laugh about it now (we have 2 kids and have been together for about 17 years), but I still remember that night when I looked down - saw the red light when it should have been green - sorted the problem - paused - and waited for "it" ...

... and then "it" came in the form of "I suppose you know we all heard every word of that"!

At least I wasn't in my usual area at the time!
