Great image Pierre, reward for the early rise

In fact it wasn't such a very early rise (relatively spoken).
The picture is captured at about half past seven. I was there for about half an hour (golden hour started at 6:54 GMT+2 at my location (see: http://www.golden-hour.com/). Calculate 3/4 of an hour travel time. This summer I left my house a few times at 4 o'clock in the morning. I was pleased (and sad at the same time ) that I could leave so late..... .
But I never captured such a nice pictures as this time (learning curve???).

I really like this image. It has so many areas of interest but they blend into a very pleasing composite.

As I was scrolling down, I noticed that I liked a bit of the top sky cropped off - right above the highest bird or above that lacy cloud...

This picture is all about crop. Everybody likes it, but on the other hand I received a lot of crop suggestions. Someone likes it to be crop on the right side, others want more on the bottom. And the last one, just as you, want the sky to be cropped.
In fact it is already a crop, the original was taken in landscape mode.

I going to look at it this evening, but I think I like it the way it is.... But first I'm going to have a look at it .

Every experienced photographer has their own way of looking at an image and thinking about what they would change if it was their's. With capturing 2/3's of all the votes in this Mini, I'd say that it satisfies most folks just the way it is. With an image this successful, the only change that makes sense is the one that satisfies you, the photographer that posted the shot!
