Re: Ornament Grass...
Hi Terry, I like the colors, contrast, and detail. It looks like some sort of a plant but beyond that I have no idea what it is!

Re: Ornament Grass...
Hi Frank!
I believe it is one of the ornamental grasses known as Fountain Grass. I think there are several different types of Fountain Grass but I don't know which one it is.
It is rather fluffy normally, but was kind of matted after a pretty good rain.

Re: Ornament Grass...
Very nice image. I was looking all over to see the raindrops.
Also really like the framing - how did you do that?

Great shot Terry, this is exactly the kind of image that I love macro for, it takes something that is somewhat overlooked everyday and turns it into the center point of attention. Well done

Re: Ornament Grass...
Thank you everyone.
Bobo, here is one of the discussions regarding framing from this forum. I seem to recall several on here and I just did a quick search for "framing" to get this one.
Tobias, I totally agree. I have always had a thing for contemplating miniature landscapes and such. Guess I'm easily amused! But shooting macro is a nice reminder to myself not to overlook the beauty that is right in front of my face!
