    Lucky little droplets
i have a strange knack for finding four-leaf clovers on a whim. sometimes dozens at a time. so instead of picking them, i started photographing them

    Hi Lee,

I am not so lucky as you... LOL. I can see a large bird from a great distance but couldn't find a four leaf clover to save my life. As for the photo, I have a little trouble telling it is a four leaf clover. My humble suggestion would be to take the shot from a higher angle that pulls all four leaves into frame. This might also, depending on the clover, provide an image that has more of the clover and drops that is in focus. Obviously, you could fiddle with an f-stop setting that provides a greater DOF to do the same. Just, my 2 cents....

thanks for the advice! i'll try some of those tricks in thespring when the clover patches are back.

btw, the secret is to find the square amongst all the triangles. just like your advicem just a change of perspective makes all the difference.
