1-2 should be juvenile wood ducks and 3 is a mallard.

Very nice Bobo. I like the composition in all three, the ducks are sharp with good focus and I just love the water in #1.

    Cheers Dave

Thanks Jim, all credit should go to the lens. All I do is point and shoot.

LOL! Bobo, that lens won't do a thing on it's own! Fortunately, it has your skill to rely on! Nice shots!

    Hehe, thanks Frank.
The day I stop taking bad shots will be the day to admit to having any skills...

These are great pictures - is it possible to find out on site what the details are - eg lens, speed, ap ISO etc and if you used a polarising filter?

    Thanks Francis.
Unfortunately Picasa does not do the simple things that we expect from a photo storage/sharing site. On the positive side compared to the measly free mbs on Flickr, Picasa at 1gig is pretty neat.

The lens is the Canon 70-300 L. No filters.

Direct links to the 3 pics are here. Click on "full details page" on the right for exif info.

    Hi Bobo,

    Good series, very good.

Although if I am honest, the last doesn't work for me, too much sharpening?

    Cheers,
