Great shots Steve. You've captured the mood of a bygone era nicely.
Cheers Dave
Well done, Steve. Lovely photographs.

thankyou Joseph.Well done, Steve. Lovely photographs.
Great set Steve,
I like them all, possibly the breakdown crane best though, not just for the crane, there's such a typical platform scene
Good work,
# 2 and 4 are my favorites.
Cheers Dave.
They are my favourites Kristianna, and #4 could have been better if it wasn't for the Station Master screaming 'get off the line', even though I wasn't on the same line and was using effectively a 300mm lens.
Very nicely done! #s 1 and 4 are my favorites.
Cheers George
Hi Steve, I was surprised at how wavy and uneven the tracks appear. Are they really that far out of alignment? If so, I hope that don't run the trains any faster than dead-slow!
They only run at just above running pace Frank; never got on one though because it costs £15 for about a mile, although you can keep catching them. Suppose the line they use is about 3 miles long but continues to the main network.
Must cost a lot to run this place

Thanks, Steve. Yes, steam locomotives are extreamly expensive to maintain.
These wonderful scenes have captured what it was like to be around in the good old days of steam power, takes me back to my childhood. Lovely work!
