Bee's knees
Just a bee collecting nectar from lavender at our back door. Just have to track down where the hive might be and maybe 'Instant Honey" on my toast for brekky
But knowing my luck I would just get stung, many times, and have to settle for vegemite! ![Embarrassment](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/redface.png)
Taken with a Tamron 300mm/Canon 1000D

Re: Bee's knees
Very nice shot.
About hives my mental picture is they are always ball-shaped and hang off trees. Not so, I have seen them streaming in/out from holes in the ground. Hunting in shorts is not a good idea!
