Now, I probably haven't seen every image of the ESB that's ever been made ........... But the fact is that, to my eye, these are different. And that in itself, makes me stop and look. And that's got to be a good measure of their impact.
I do like the composition of the first one particularly. Take the building and the sky surrounding it and you have an almost abstract image of bold lines and shapes. I'd say it's a better composition than the second one.
I really, really like that first one.
