    Forest Park Pond Panoramic

Stitched together from about 32 photos... All Manual Exposures, except for the focus. Minor color enhancements after the stitching was completed to brighten the whole scene.

    32!

I wouldn't know how to start doing that. Lovely richness of colour and tone.

Nice shot! You need a pretty powerful PC to be able to handle 32 images, certainly in Photoshop anyways!

Just a quick Q... ...Why did you not use manual focus? Although it's difficult to tell in this shot I would have thought manual focus is a must for panoramas. You don't want the focus point to change, at least that's how I go about approaching them.

I am shooting them with enough overlap that the focus point does remain almost constant. I would say this is approximately a 150-160 degree view and shot at about 3 rows across. I am mounted on a tripod and the pivot point remains constant all the way around.

Considering earlier on my complaining about having to stitch 24!!!!
Guess you just gave me a KITB to do it.

Super effort and the result speaks for itself. Well done.

About the 32, did you do verticals or horizontals?.

    Joie,
What is the size of your final file? I would imagine that it is pretty large and that you could make a great size enlargement if you so desired...
