These images were shot in Cedar Breaks or on the road to Cedar Breaks, Utah in early Fall when the aspen trees were beginning to turn and there was a bit of snow on the ground. IMO, Utah is one of the most beautiful states among our 50 very lovely states. I added these shots to my Desert Southwest Gallery at:

Sam it was breathtaking to view this scene. Late September or early October is a perfect time to visit Southern Utah. The tourist season is over, the air is crisp and clear but not frigid, the aspens are beginning to turn and there is the bonus of a bit of snow occasionally in the high country...
The depth of the Cedar Breaks is 2,000 feet (~610 meters), the breadth across stretches up to 3-miles (~4.8 kilometer) and the elevation at the rim of the Breaks is over 10,000 feet (over 3,000 meters) above sea level.
