    Hi Mike,

In Photoshop (Elements), down-size the image so that the longest dimension is about 1000 pixels. I'd suggest using TinyPic rather than the gallery space here (because there are fewer restrictions).

TinyPic is a piece of cake to use once you get the hang of it.

Ha Ha . i could see how this was shaping up all week . . its gotta be the best soap around aint it ?? . .i can just imagine you all rushing home (or gettin up . .) just to get your daily fix . . of the latest instalment of "Mikes London Photoshoot" a gritty tale of high expectation woven on a tapestry of desire and desperation . . will our hero pull of his daring feat of self expression . .will the model get cold feet and pull out . . will the shoddy london weather ruin the day . . will the months of training and the copious amount of free advice spur our hero on to photo heaven . .??? tune in on Sunday for the cliffhanger finale . . and all will be revealed . . ( Ha no bloody pressure then Eh ? )
Hey, It's Wednesday here in the US and the cliffhanger's fingers are getting tired. Please give us a few!?

Where are you Mike the bike???

    Hi Mike,

Sorry, but I have no idea where your Flickr site is. Should be pretty easy to get it to us though ... just go there - copy the address to the clipboard - and paste it into a post here.

Update: Everyone, I think it's here.

    Mike,

If you follow the instructions at the link I gave you before, you shouldn't have any trouble. Here's one of yours as a test ...

Nope... Sorry Mike, no link but Colin's link to your flickr site works.

Your model didnt intend to get cold with that coat and jumper!

I personally like the poses in 2723/66//2846/75/2949 very professional, although some slightly tighter cropping might help a little.

I think you should also take up writing suspense thrillers, given what you have put us all through here

Clearly you had a good day for it, if I guess with a little autumn chill?

Congratulations on taking the plunge, you certainly have some shots to be proud of and I would think your model will be pleased with them too.

    Lets see if this works.

Highlight the address of the picture and select all, copy it then paste it into your message like this and..... http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/soulmike/6263905633/

Re: My very first photoshoot . .

Go to 'upload images' at the bottom left hand side of your screen. Open it Paste the full image address into Tinypic. The resulting image address that Tinypic gives you, you copy and post into your CiC post and you should have nailed it. Make sure you do the last bit though.

    Hi Mike,

It would have worked, but the URL you specified doesn't point to an image - it only points to a page with an image on it (which is different). What I'd suggest is displaying the image in Flickr as big as it'll go - then right-click ON THE IMAGE - choose properties - and then highlight & copy the URL that's in the property sheet into the "insert image" box here.

    Hi Mike,

You did use the insert image here, but the mistake you seem to have made with this one is using the page url, not the image url - you want a url that ends ".jpg".

I suspect you are taking it from the browser address bar, not right clicking the image as you should. Right clicking is disabled on Flickr unless you go to (as Colin said) the largest size via "All sizes". Then you can follow the instructions word for word.

Once you've done it correct once, it'll be easy
