Osteospermium closeup
Good evening, all.
I wasn't sure where to put this. So I put it here in the nature forum. I was trying to create something sort of dreamy.
Shooting information: canon 7d, shutter speed 1/30, f16, iso 1600, flash fired + 10X closeup lens.

Thank you for looking. Please tell me what you think.

Re: Osteospermium closeup
Love it, Marie! The colors pop nicely and I like softness around the edge, myself.
Don't know if you were able to shoot it this way or did it in PP?
There is a "Post your flowers" thread that has been very helpful to me and you may want to join the conversation there as well.
Thanks, Darlene

Re: Osteospermium closeup
Darlene, I did do some PP, and good of you to notice. I applied a layer with a light gaussian blur, and then brushed back in the detail at varying percentages. I applied curves and a purple color overlay effect. I sharpened just the center, and dodged the tips of the individual stamens(???) - the blue thingies to help then look more 3 dimensional.
Thanks for commenting,
Marie
