Hi Folks,

The votes have been counted, and we have our winners ...

Another VERY close competition (see, every vote REALLY CAN make a difference) - we have a tie for first place (30 points each) between Michael's "Fountain of Youth, and Paul's great composition ...





And in 3rd place - just ONE vote behind on 27 points, we have Dale's "Waiting for the Ferry Man"

Hi "Walker37" (what's your first name by the way?),

We don't normally post the full results, but if anyone would like to know how many votes they got, I'm quite happy to let them know. Just keep in mind though that because of the way the voting works, it can appear misleading; folks only vote for their favourite image so (for example) if EVERYBODY thought a particular image was their 2nd favourite, it still wouldn't get a single vote.

I've been away from here for some time, and "Fountain of Youth" is a superb welcome back. I must try to enter one of these competitions soon - how are they promulgated?

Congrats to the two winners_ wonderful photos, both of them.

So many brilliant shots to choose from and as someone has already said, it was difficult picking just one. In fact it was virtually impossible, I'm sure many of you had the same problem and finished up with half a dozen equally great shots of totally different types and had to plump for one.
