    ACCEPTING ENTRIES: Mini Competition #625

This is an open-themed competition that is open to all CiC members.

ENTERING. Add your image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). Only one entry per person. For help posting images, go here.

VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 2 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.

Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

    Good luck!

Notes: Please do not request feedback or comment on other images until after voting has closed, as it could be unfair to other entrants. Photos must be your own, and never entered into one of our prior competitions. We also ask that only recently taken or edited photos be used as entries (in the spirit of motivating everyone to continually improve).

PS: Make sure to also vote on the previous competition here.

    Rob,

When I saw your photo, I just gave up on entering.

Not to detract from the other entries because they are all great! Just knew nothing I had shot lately even came close.

And Rom and Richard, I truly love the puppy pictures, older and brand new!

You really ought not to think that. Although the general standard of my work is quite good, you can never tell what will appeal to other people. Photographic images are just as much subjective as objective in their appeal. My shot here is very unusual and that has some appeal. But Richard's puppy shot has a great deal of emotional appeal - and that can be very important.

I don't actually like my shot. Why? Because it was shot in my mother-in-law's house and I'd just had 'words' with her. But then you would not know that from just looking at the shot.

    Re: Puppy Pile

Even after having a few words with the mother-in-law Rob you can still spot a great picture Nice one.
