Morning Silhouette
This crow was sitting in a tree near our bedroom window when the sun was coming up behind it. And no, I did nothing to the eye. This is how the shot came out. Did a bit of a clean up of the raw data file. Then I thought it would look best as a B&W so there was a monochrome rendition in PS using the channel mix filter, increasing green to 60 percent and dropping the red and blue channels each by 10%. Then a bit of a crop, cloned out a couple of distracting small branches and light unsharp mask and that was about it. Well, it all seemed a good idea at the time is the best excuse I can proffer.
Taken with a Sigma 500mm lens at F6.2 at 43.5m from the subject.
Thanks for viewing and any comments offered.
