Thank you in advance for your help - I enjoy looking at this shot, however can't seem to get past that banana; anyone have any tips on editing it out without marring up the image? I'm currently using Aperture 3.0; maybe I'm trying to do too much with it.

This is a second really nice photo from this set. If you don't like the fruit I would simply crop it out of the photo. I think the image is really good from all other standpoints. Frankly, I like it better without the banana. I think the cutie, waves and sun, albeit a bit blown, make the shot and a little less at the bottom wouldn't hurt a bit.

Ok second thought is the the sun is a bit blown. Here is a simple crop that I like.

Catches the mood well. Well done.
The original looks good and Scott's edit gives it just the right pinch of "emotion".

I like the original shot -the bananna. I don't mind the slightly blown sun much at all. Without it I feel it loses it's ....for lack of better words...tenderness or warmth. Well done Rob.

I think the crop loses a little too much, I'd do a part and part; part crop and part clone to remove it.

I'd also straighten the horizon on this one - but that's just me being 'square'

Thanks for the example, does look good when you push in. You also adjust the contrast (or anything else)? Your version looks crisper - noticeable in the clouds overhead...

Thanks Dave, I'm going to give that a shot and re-post a second example - really appreciate the feedback...

Banana brushed out / cloned out, pushed in a bit, horizon leveled (almost, any further and it clips her hair more than I'd like to) - really appreciate the suggestions, I like it...
