this was taken during a local festival called 'irupathettam onam' in ochira, Kerala. the children are in great excitement of celebrations.in their hand are bunches of fire crakers

Mod comment: This was an 11th entry (of 10) in Mini Comp #644, so moved here, to #645. Might have been better in a Monochrome one in hindsight.

The shot was of the side of the shearing shed which is quite old and the timbers are very weathered with a mould growing on the side
