To be honest, there are lots of books I could recommend, but these days I tend to suggest video training first and foremost (www.kelbytraining.com), but I'm wondering if the language barrier might be a problem?

yes, it is a problem
at the moment i'm not able to understand speech so well. It will take me a lot of time listening and listening again.
I would like to attend a course, but if I do not use english often, in a while I forget it all. I'm pleased to post on CiC for the gentlemen around here and also to keep in use my poor english.
