Hello, I am Mark Helm

I am hooked on macro images in general and focal stacked macros in particular. My motto is "Get Low and Moving Slow". I really enjoy the challenges of shooting in the field.
I am now building a high magnification bench set-up for studio work.
I use both an Olympus E-1 and E-3 with my main macro lens a Sigma 150 mm HSM f/2.8 macro. My general use lens are the 9-18 Olympus F3.5 and the 50-200 Olympus f:2.8. My tripod is a Manfrotto 055XPPro with a Manfrotto 488RC2 ballhead an acra clamp.
I use Adobe PhotoShop CS/5 and Nik plug-ins, mostly Viveza 2 and Color Efex Pro 3.0 and Zerene Stacker to render focal stacked images

I belong to the London Camera Club and the Toronto Camera Club

aas it says up top, this is very much a learning community andas there are a number of people whose particular interest is macro, I'm sure there will be lots of opportunity for you to both learn but also to share your knowledge and experience with others.
