OK I'll play along. Certainly not the best pictures but decided to grab the camera and take some pics of Max the playful Morkie.I took these shortly (a week) after aquiring my first DSLR and was just looking for a subject to take pictures of while learning what all the buttons do ;-)
I've learned a lot by lurking in the shadows of the forum the last month, so I might as well contribute once.
On the front sidewalk. Certainly not the best background given his coloring.
No PP other than a crop. Just illistrating the playful spirit.
He cracks us up and wears us out at the same time.
Here is my Shadow when he was in his prime. Sadly, he's no longer with us but he lives on in our hearts and minds. He was a wonderful and devoted companion... a true member of our family. He is deeply missed.
This is Blue Rain Adamant O'Shennesy born on St. Patrick's Day. A show dog that had some iris atrophy and became "pet quality". I picked her up at 13 weeks and dropped the goofy breeder name for Shen. She is the most angelic creature on the planet! If you have any question about how important dogs are to humans, take a look at a Nova: Dogs Decoded... It is an amazing documetary on their importance to humans.
This was Zeus - one of our week-end buddies. He got hit by a car a few months ago, and had to be euthanized. The d***ed driver didn't even slow down....
My first dog Timothy Robert (aka:Timbob, Boogy, Long-hair mini Great Dane, Timber wolf, among others). He lived to be 16yo and was spoiled rotten. I miss him very much, he really was my baby. RIP-2008
Samantha, our lab-newfie mix who lost a leg to mast cell tumor but lived 4 more years and could still pull me down the street with three legs! She just knew what I needed, always! RIP-2009
Jeremiah, our wonderful Great Dane-lab mix who counter-surfed himself to death while we were on vacation last year. He got flybait from the back of the counter and ate enough to kill him! He was 110lbs. Nothing our friend could do for him. Tragic accident. Sure do miss him! RIP-2010
My current two. Sonny and Clyde (sonny is on the right in the pix). Got them from the same rescue but three years apart. They act like brothers!
