Love the dogs expression! There is character in that photo.
The only things I would suggest would be to sharpen the eyes as I think that is vital in this particular image .
And also I like the fact that the image is clipping the dogs right ear, but perhaps a slight crop on the left hand side? Just a fraction would remove some of the orange on that side, which is slightly distracting.
But other than that I definitely like!
The horse I'm not too sure on though , lacking a heap of life and character considering the eyes are in the pic.
Also love the cats expression "Pissed! I am Pissed! Why the HELL doesn't anyone ever feed me around here?!" - My cat shares this expression also .
I would consider brightening and sharpening the cats eyes for a real 'Slap-in-the-face' image.
This is a semi tame animal which lives in my garden and at this time of the year he has a growing family to feed.
When working in my garden the blackbirds follow me around just waiting to nip in and grab some goodies.
Not totally sharp I'm afraid. Had a macro lens on the tripod mounted camera. The bird was eagerly picking up worms and running around faster than I could get a sharp manual focus.
Here are my babies... The cat is cutest as "doggy" can tend to be very jumpy, but she just loves me too much!
These ones were taken with my phone's camera so the quality won't be there as the SLR wasn't out...
The damned grass got in the way of this one...
My stupid "doggy" that chases birds (I think she was actually looking at one when I took this shot!)...

Hi Dan,
If that's your phone, I need a new camera!
That's sharp and it is well focused on the cat and not grass.
Cheers,
Ahh... it's a bit of a hit and miss scenario with AF on those things... You never know what it's going to choose to focus on and to be quite frank, I'm not entirely sure how it managed to focus on the cat rather than the grass! I suppose you can't expect miracles from a phone but the Nokia's AF works decently half of the time...That's sharp and it is well focused on the cat and not grass.
My cat is kind of like that, but the dog is hopeless. You get low to capture her and she runs right up and wants to lick the lens... so to get a shot of her sitting still is almost impossible. At least if she licks my phone I won't care as much as the camera lens lol...No, I wasn't that mean, she was really interested in the camera though!

Oh yes, we can see it!
I'm sure he's lovely, but I can confidently predict I'll never own one like this - I just couldn't cope with the slobber

Cute Jim, esp. #1 - Don't think I've ever had a blue eyed cat, always yellow or green.
I love the shot of Chuck. Pity you don't live in the UK the Government will give you 2000 quid for your car to trade for a new model.
