The yellow and purple caught my eye while driving home from work the other day. Interesting at all? I just liked the colors...

Focus is way soft and there seems to be quite a bit of color "noise." Nice colors but a lot of distracting elements that draw the eye away, especially the purple VW.

The noise and soft focus dont bother me. I dont like the back end of the blue truck, though. Its distracting. I like how the mailbox counterpoints the purple bug.

Chris, thank you for your comments. The soft grainy look was on purpose. I'm not sure it works for me either.

The processing looks almost "Ortonized". Personally I lilke the Orton effect, but am always concerned the viewer will just assume I messed-up the processing.

Kevin, thanks for teaching me a new term
And here I was thinking I was creating my own style!
To me it was all about the colors and the way things bracketed the juxtaposed VW.
