Backgrounds always make a big difference—consider the studio backdrop vs. a live scene.
Viana seems that we are cross posting in time.

    Backgrounds, see my previous post.
As to gay friends? AFAIK, I don't have any currently.
So anybody (of any identity) want to chip in here?
I was thinking of a yellow tartan.

Now, THAT is a great idea! Make everyone wonder what’s under there.

Get some of those gorgeous knee socks as well.

You reminded me of something—When I was just about to become a teen I was walking down a London street, behind a gorgeous, tall man wearing a kilt. Smart-allecky kid that I was, I asked him: “What do you wear under those?” The clever man said: “Koma heeere little girrrl— and I’ll show ye.”

I ran!. . . and still do not know to this day. LOL

Um, well — this comment reminds me of the girl in the cheap, low-cut dress who wonders why no one looks at her eyes.

That rather reminds me of the question.

'Is there anything worn under the kilt?'

    And the reply,

'No Madam, everything is in perfect working order'.

Oh, too funny, Geoff! Never heard that one before.

OK—Here, finally are some answers to this very important question:

Draught guidance: a kilt need underwear
The time-honoured practice of wearing nothing beneath the kilt has been condemned - by an organisation dedicated to upholding Scottish traditions.

The Scottish Tartans Authority has decreed that refusing to put on underwear beneath a kilt is "childish and unhygienic".

It also warned that "going commando" flies in the face of decency…

Your wife looks happy, I had to laugh. I think the reflection was great.

The laugh makes all this work worthwhile, thanks.
