A different angle
My daughter taken from a slightly different angle than the "Norm".....she loves it...what do you think?

Re: A different angle
I do like it, despite the unusual angle
The blown sky is a distraction - probably unavoidably so, as clearly the face cannot be brighter than the sky and toning the sky blobs down would just make the whole image look dim
Good DoF control.
I wonder if Colin can work any 'magic' on it?
He often achieves things that never even occur to me with other's portraits, that said, she looks lovely anyway.
Cheers,

Re: A different angle
Great photo and beautiful girl. There is one very minor thing I noticed and that would be a sparkle on her lower right eyelid. Just cught my eye. Well done.

Joanne,
Are you as beautiful as your daughter is?

Re: A different angle
Nice image, evocative. To me the angle of her looking over you is quite wistful, as if she is looking beyond the present to the future and the unknown (hence the lack of a smile, indicating some slight trepidation and thoughtfulness).

Re: A different angle
She looks naturally beautiful in this shot! well taken. Agree with Dave, the sky is a little distracting, only thing I can think of if there was a chance at a reshoot, make sure more leaves are in that area? Otherwise, its an excellent shot of her face. Id also agree, Colin and his magic show would probably impress me again.

Re: A different angle
The light, exposure of the face, and the sharpness all look great to me. I agree that the background is distracting - a good excuse for a reshoot!
